Vittorio Gazzera nasce il 22/08/1983 e molto presto dimostra una spiccata inclinazione artistica. Da bambino disegna fumetti (e successivamente li sceneggia) su pile e pile di quaderni a quadretti, e inizia a scrivere i primi, timidi racconti brevi a tema horror.

Frequentando il Liceo Artistico, il campo si apre a nuove forme espressive (prime fra tutte la pittura e la musica) e gli da il coraggio di fare due cose: proporre a un giornale locale la striscia umoristica a fumetti "Gioventù Ustionata" (che viene pubblicata per oltre un anno e mezzo insieme alla vignetta satirica di prima pagina) e fondare un gruppo musicale rock in cui suona la batteria.

Dopo svariate esperienze nel campo dell'illustrazione e della grafica pubblicitaria, arriva il momento della svolta: nel 2011 fonda la Vertical Green productions e produce e dirige il suo primo film, REWIND, che gli vale una proiezione al Torino Film Festival del 2012 e una presenza fissa in un programma televisivo su SKY.

Negli anni dell'università, parallelamente al cinema, entra in contatto con l'arte dei Tarocchi e degli studi sull'inconscio, che inizia a utilizzare nel suo lavoro in maniera sempre più consapevole. L'UOMO DAL FIORE IN BOCCA (2013) e BUNKER (2014) sono due lavori che, più di ogni altro, contengono al loro interno le simbologie e le indagini archetipiche/oniriche frutto di questi studi.

Vittorio Gazzera was born on August 22, 1983, and soon he shows a strong artistic inclination. As a child, he draws comic strips (and then dramatize them) on stacks of squared notebooks, and begins writing the first, timid horror-themed short stories.

Attending the Art High School, the field opens to new expressive forms (first of all painting and music) and gives to him the courage to do two things: to propose to a local newspaper the humorous comic strip "Burnt Youth" (which has been published for more than a year and a half, plus the satirical first page cartoon) and to found a rock band in which he plays the drum.

After many experiences in the field of graphic design and advertising, the moment comes to turn: in 2011 he founded the Vertical Green productions and produces and directs his first film, REWIND, which is proudly screened at the Torino Film Festival 2012 and a fixed presence in a television program on SKY.

In the university years, in parallel with cinema, he comes into contact with the art of Tarots and studies of the unconscious, which he begins to use in his works more and more conscious. L'UOMO DAL FIORE IN BOCCA (2013) and BUNKER (2014) are two works that, more than the previous ones, contain within them the archetypal / dreamlike symbologies from these studies.
